Um

Have you ever possibly been fighting with your boy/girlfriend and not been aware of it? And how does one bring that up really? Is text an appropriate forum for that?
Is there litmus strip for that or do I just ask, "Are we fighting and I'm not aware of it?" Because I don't want that then to start a fight.

Sigh. I really have to say that communicating via text is not the best form of expression.

I think the generally accepted approach is to walk around without talking or answering anything they say, until they accuse you of being angry, and then you say 'How dare you accuse me...', thereby attempting to blame them for starting it.
At this point both parties raise voices until the one who doesn't stop first shouts all the perceived injustices of the relationship over the last year or ten, the other then responds in kind.

Eventually someone says sorry and you both add that event to your store of bitches to use as weapons for the next argument.
